The developers of Pokemon GO have announced that from August it will be possible to change the language settings in the game.
It is true that Pokemon GO is not a role-playing game, so players do not have to read the detailed descriptions explaining the lore or read the extensive dialogues of the characters. In fact, you don’t need to know English to quickly get the hang of this title. The gameplay is very simple, and there are tutorials in many languages on the internet when needed.
However, this does not change the fact that there are people who would like to delve into some descriptions or know what Professor Willow or other characters appearing in the game say from time to time.
The creators announced that in the second half of this year’s holidays, the title will be able to change the language settings. The game has fans all over the world, so besides English, Niantic will also add a lot of other versions.
Language selection in Pokemon GO
The official website of Pokemon GO has information that in August, the possibility of changing the language will be added to the game.
Soon, Trainers will be able to change their language settings in Pokémon GO! Trainers will be able to play Pokémon GO in their language of choice, regardless of the language used on their device. The following languages will be available when this setting launches.
Not all language versions will be available immediately. Here is the list of languages coming to the game in August:

Trainers will need to close and reopen Pokémon GO for any language changes to take effect.
