The developers of Pokemon GO have announced a new Mega Evolutions event.

December is approaching, so there is information about the events that will hit the game in the last month of 2022. It is already clear that there will be a lot going on and players will certainly not be bored.

A Raid Day inspired by the first-partner Pokémon of Hoenn is coming to kick off the Season and celebrate the announcement of Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn!

Join us for Heading to Hoenn Mega Raid Day, featuring the debuts of Sceptile, Blaziken, and Swampert’s Mega Evolutions. Mega Sceptile, Mega Blaziken, and Mega Swampert Energy won’t be available again until Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn, so make sure you take advantage of this opportunity!

The event will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm local time on Saturday, December 3, 2022.

Mega Pokemon debuts

Mega Sceptile, Mega Blaziken and Mega Swampert will make their debuts in Pokemon GO in Mega Raids. Each of them will also be obtainable in shiny versions.

Bonuses during the event

The following bonuses are provided for this occasion:

  • Sceptile caught during this event will know the Frenzy Plant charged attack.
  • Blaziken caught during this event will know the Blast Burn charged attack.
  • Swampert caught during this event will be familiar with the Hydro Cannon charged attack.
  • Trainers will be able to receive up to five additional free Raid Passes for spinning Gyms during the event.
  • Everyone will have an increased chance of meeting a shiny Sceptil, a shiny Blaziken and a shiny Swampert.

A unique ticket associated with the event

A ticket providing the following bonuses will be available for $5 (or an amount from the equivalent price level in local currency).

The bonuses will be active from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. local time on Saturday, December 3, 2022.

  • Six additional Raid Passes for spinning Gyms (that is, a total of 12 on that day).
  • Increased chance of receiving Rare Candy XL.
  • 50% more XP from raids.
  • 2 × Stardust from raids.
