Let’s GO event announcement in Pokemon GO. Ditto will return, and players will receive many bonuses
Another event has been announced, which will begin next week. What is known about it?
The developers of the game about pocket creatures have revealed information about an upcoming event that will center around Meltan and Ditto. On this occasion, there will be a lot of interesting attractions and bonuses in Pokemon GO.
Let’s GO event in Pokemon GO
The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. local time on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, and will last until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.
Meltan
The key to catching Meltan is the Mystery Box, which can be obtained by sending a creature from Pokemon GO to Pokemon HOME or the Nintendo Switch console games “Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!” or “Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee!”.
When you use the Mystery Box during this event, you might encounter Shiny Meltan—if you’re lucky! Trainers will also have an increased chance of finding XXS or XXL Meltan during the event.
In addition, it will be possible to open Mystery Boxes more often.
Pansage, Pansear, and Panpour appearing globally
During the event, Pansage, Pansear, and Panpour will appear in Field Research and in the wild around the world.
Each of the creatures can also come in a shiny version.
Ditto change
The wild event will feature Ditto pretending to be a different creature. Those who are lucky will end up with a shiny version.

The following species will appear more often in the wild. They are the ones that Ditto may change into.

- Grimer
- Snubbull
- Corphish
- Starly
- Roggenrola
- Tympole
- Litleo
Bonuses during the event
- Reduced waiting time for opening the Mystery Box.
- 2× Candy for transferring Pokémon.
- Increased chance of finding XXS and XXL Meltan.
- Increased chance of finding Ditto disguised as other Pokémon.
Other attractions
- The following Pokemon will appear more often in the wild: Diglett, Grimer, Snubbull, Corphish, Starly, Pansage, Pansear, Panpour, Roggenrola, Tympole, Litleo.
- Those who are lucky will find Trubbish, Galarian Stunfisk, and Goomy.
- Event opponents will appear in raids:
- Thundurus in Incarnation Form will appear in raids from 10 a.m. local time on Tuesday, March 21 to 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.
- Lugia will appear in raids from 10:00 a.m. local time on Tuesday, March 28 until 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 10, 2023.
- Mega Venusaur will appear in raids from 10:00 a.m. local time on Tuesday, March 21 to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.
- Mega Alakazam will appear in raids from 10:00 a.m. local time on Tuesday, March 28 to 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 10, 2023.
- The following Pokémon will be available after completing Field Research tasks: Pansage, Pansear, Panpour.
- An event Collection Challenge will be available. Upon completing it, one will receive Meltan and 5000 XP.

Throughout Season 10: Rising Heroes, free Special Research will be available for Trainers! Spend some time helping out Professor Willow and see what surprises you discover!
The Special Research will be available to claim until the end of Season 10: Rising Heroes on June 1, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
Season 10 Ticketed Timed Research: Willow’s Wardrobe
Throughout Season 10, Ticketed Timed Research will be available for Trainers to purchase! This Season-long research will allow Trainers to unlock a new costume inspired by Professor Willow. It will also lead to an encounter with a Melmetal that knows the Charged Attack Double Iron Bash!*
Evolve Meltan during the Timed Research to get a Melmetal that knows the Charged Attack Double Iron Bash!

To win all prizes, Timed Research must be completed by June 1, 2023.
