Announcement of the April Community Day in Pokemon GO. What Pokemon will appear?

It is already known which Pokemon will be associated with the next Community Day in Pokemon GO.

The creators announced who will be the hero of April’s Community Day in Pokemon GO. Significant changes in this type of event are coming. The number of bonuses will be increased, but the duration of the event will be shortened. What else do you need to know about the next Community Day?

Stufful Community Day in Pokemon GO

This time the main character of Community Day will be a creature introduced in Generation VII. It’s about Stufful, normal, and fighting Pokemon. Community Day will start on April 23 (Saturday) at 2:00 PM and will last until 5:00 PM.

Before the attractions and bonuses are listed, it is worth taking a look at the messages from the creators. Niantic has decided to explain why April Community Day will only last 3 hours.

We also wanted to take a moment to discuss some changes to the Community Day format we’ll be testing. In 2020, we doubled the length of our Community Day events, extending them from three hours to six. Since then, however, we’ve found that only five percent of our Trainers tend to participate in the event for more than three hours.

Stuffule in a shiny version

One of the biggest pieces of positive feedback that we received after January’s three-hour Community Day Classic was that players and community leaders noticed how much more of the community was out and about during the event. So, for Stufful Community Day, we’re returning to three-hour format. Our hope is that doing so will create even more opportunities for Trainers to play together and connect outside as they’re exploring.

We know that Trainers have enjoyed all of the extra resources that can be collected during longer events, so we’re adding some new and exciting perks to Stufful Community Day to give you the ability to collect just as many resources during gameplay. Check them out below!

On the occasion of the April event, the following attractions are planned:

  • Stufful will spawn more frequently in the wild. Anyone who is lucky will find the shiny version.
  • A Stufful evolved during or up to 2 hours after the event will give a Bewear who knows the Drain Punch attack.
  • A disposable box for 850 PokeCoins will appear in the store, which will contain:
    • 15 x Ultra Ball,
    • 15 x Pinap Berry,
    • 1 x Elite Fast TM,
    • 1 x Remote Raid Pass.
  • Special Research – “Strong Stuff” will be available for ticket holders.
  • After taking the photo, there will be some surprises.
  • A free pack of 30 Ultra Balls will be available in the store.
  • Themed stickers will appear in the game.

Group game bonuses

Work together with other trainers to unlock additional bonuses in that location!

If enough Pokémon are caught by trainers from a single Lure, the 3× XP bonus for catching Pokémon near the Lured PokéStop will be increased to 4× XP for 30 minutes .*

This bonus will not stack with the base 3× catch XP bonus and will instead replace it for the duration.
