One of the game developers at Roblox stated that his production includes a sex tape with Kim Kardashian. He was banned.
Kim Kardashian has her own television series called “The Kardashians.” During its broadcast on April 14, you could see a rather strange situation in which the model’s six-year-old son shows her a Roblox commercial, which showed that the game contained her 2007 sex tape. It didn’t take long for the developers to react.
What was the reaction of Kardashian and the Roblox developers?
On April 15, Roblox developers confirmed that the advertised game did exist, however, the said video never existed on the platform. In addition, the player responsible for all the confusion was banned. Below you can read the official statement of the game spokesperson for Polygon.
The referenced video was never available on our platform—we have strict moderation and policies to protect our community, including zero tolerance for sexual content of any kind which violates our Community Rules. The text reference to the tape that got around our filters was quickly taken down and fortunately visible only to an extremely small number of people on the platform. We also swiftly took down the associated experience and banned the community developer involved with the incident.
Kim Kardashian herself reacted to this matter with indignation, which, of course, is quite understandable:
It was a clickbait, suggesting that if you clicked on it, a new sex tape would appear. If my son was a little older and could read, I would be humiliated.
