The AppStore, as well as Google Play, have withdrawn Minecraft from their stores.
Russian gamers have very large gaming communities. One of them is the one dedicated to Minecraft. Now more and more sources say that Minecraft is not available in Russia. So far, apparently on mobile devices.
However, you can guess that this is just the beginning and soon, for example, updating the PC version will be turned off. The Russian media already foresees such a possibility. Especially since you have to log in to Minecraft to play on your account.
Minecraft has disappeared from the AppStore and Google Play
If you live in Russia, you cannot download the mobile version of Minecraft from the official sources. This is directly due to the decision of Microsoft to completely suspend any of its activities in Russia. The declarations were confirmed, and so Russian players have probably not been able to log into their accounts for several days.
Of course, there’s no major problem with getting around this, at least on Android devices. However, you can see that while games are not the most important here, they also play a role in some way.
