Mojang listened to Minecraft players and changed new wood. The developers figured that the players were right

Mojang felt that the players were indeed right. A slightly changed “mangrove” wood has appeared in the new snapshot.

Snapshot 1.19 22W11A introduced many different news. Now, there are frogs and tadpoles in Minecraft. Apart from them, there is also a new biome – Deep Dark. New blocks of mud and bricks have also been added.

In addition, Mojang finalized its idea for new wood and interestingly, the players were listened to in this regard. Let’s recall what the mangrove wood block looked like originally:

When it was first shown, many people reported that it was too light, too much like other types of wood. Mojang employees did not reply at the time but clearly agreed with the community’s view.

So the wood has undergone changes

Today’s version is darker, the difference is clearly visible and you don’t have to look too closely.

At this point, the wood is more original and does not resemble the basic wood. This is once again where Mojang shows that it genuinely listens to its players, though it doesn’t directly answer questions the way Riot or Epic do.
