Mojang officially decided to remove two new products. And players start to think what will be next.
Mojang officially confirmed last week that it is ceasing to work on the two previously announced novelties. One of them are fireflies, which were supposed to be food for frogs. Finally, Mojang explains that fireflies are mostly poisonous and therefore will not be in the game.
Similarly with the birch forest. The concept shown at Minecraft Live intrigued the community a lot, and unfortunately, it is the second thing to be canceled. Mojang will not develop this element and withdraws from its creation.
And this is of great concern to the community
Players are very much concerned about the current situation in Mojang. Developers apparently do not communicate with the community very clearly, which simply results in the lack of specific and correct information.
Players in particular worry about things like:
- Bags that are being delayed all the time
- Archeology that is still unexplored and slowly seems to completely disappear
- Mobs that were developed but never released – the community could only vote for one
Community expectations begin to diverge from what Mojang has recently presented. As gamers write, it would be better to just announce real things and functions rather than gaslight the community and then try to excuse themselves.
The updates still bring a lot of news, but not as announced by Mojang. Of course, the crate on the boat is a very important thing, as are the new blocks. However, many people were waiting for fireflies or are still waiting for archeology.
