There is a wave of unnaturally fast bots in Lost Ark.
A few days ago we wrote about a new security feature in Lost Ark against bots spamming ads for in-game currency sale pages. The players did not like this practice, and the new security was supposed to partially eliminate the problem.
Now another one has appeared, as bot owners have come up with a new trick and accounts are already getting the level required for using chat. They do it with dizzying speed thanks to the so-called “speed hack”.
Bot accounts
A few days ago, the developers of Lost Ark decided to block chat from people under the 30th level. Although getting it is not something complicated and takes several hours, it makes it much more difficult for bots. It turned out that its creators found a way to bypass it.
This time, the problem is not only with spam in chat but also with characters scurrying around the world at an amazingly fast pace. In this case, they not only pick up the mobs needed to complete the mission but also simply irritate the players. The example was shown by Redditor Theycallmesomething:
The phenomenon is especially popular in the first locations, where there are low-level players. It is not nice, especially in situations where one has to fight them for resources on the map.

Will the developers do something about it? Catching bots may not be as easy as blocking a chat and takes much longer. However, it is worth helping the developers and reporting any violation of the rules in the game.
