Players use bots to collect resources and thus make the game difficult for others.
The subject of bots in Lost Ark is already known to everyone. People using them collect huge amounts of gold and then illegally sell it on sites advertised via spam in chat.
However, hundreds of thousands of new accounts and the destruction of the server economy are not the only problem. Anyone can buy the program and use it on their own account, often with a really high level of items, and this makes it difficult for others to play.
Chaos dungeons on bots
The plague of illegal software and accounts using it does not stop, even though the developers are openly fighting them and boast that over a million “players” have been banned.
The problem is no longer limited to low-level locations and destroying the economy on the market. The community now reports that they hinder clearing Chaos Dungeons and Cube. How? They queue up with other players and hope that they themselves will be able to defeat the creature waves and will only grab the loot at 1370, which means a lot of time has been invested in the account.
Interestingly, such accounts are not created by bots. These are normal players who turn on the software when they can’t play. While the chance of getting banned is high, apparently still too small as people risk and enjoy the mats when they come back home. Other commenters on the video on Reddit say that there are occasional times when half the team is bots regardless of level.
