Lost Ark players queue for hours to join the game. The creators announce changes

Lost Ark

Players are complaining about long queues in Lost Ark. When is the solution to come?

On Friday, February 11, 3 days after the game’s release, it was made available to the community for free. Due to the fact that it has really good opinions, there were big problems.

Despite the fact that the developers added a few new servers at the start, the EU ones are all loaded and it is unlikely to change in the coming days. The game is very popular, and Amazon is blamed for server problems.

Problems with servers in Lost Ark

Lost Ark is a “younger” child of New World, whom hardly anyone remembers. Although these games are very different from each other, they still remain similar in many ways, and they come from the same publisher. The server problems that accompanied New World during the premiere are similar to those of Lost Ark today. The difference, however, is that the queues in NW were only temporary, and it is difficult to log in to LA even at extraordinary hours.

Some people have to queue up to several hours to join the server, which is very frustrating. Especially if a moment after logging in, it turns out that the servers have stopped working, on Saturday… evening.

Are these all the problems that accompany Lost Ark? Unfortunately not. The European community is not thrilled with the update hours that Amazon picks. The February 11 premiere was postponed by a good few hours and the servers finally went live after midnight on February 12th.

At that time, developers were reluctant to inform fans about what was going on and even removed the official page with the status of the servers. On Saturday it was really difficult to log into the game, and the queues were breaking the threshold of over 20,000 people waiting.

Eventually, around 8 p.m., a lot of servers were turned off. Once again, the problems were on the developer’s side. In the meantime, players have reported numerous issues with the crashed shop, Crystalline Aura, not being able to receive Twitch drops or other gifts. These situations have remained unresolved until today.

Although the problem with the server was quickly resolved, those who wanted to give up on playing the game this evening and enter on Sunday morning were very surprised. It turned out that there was a technical break from 8:00 AM to almost 11:00 AM. After 12:00 AM players had to wait in the queue a few hours to finally play with huge lags. Where do such problems arise from?

Compared to New World, Lost Ark collects many more positive opinions, and the game is available for free. The production is refined and has a huge amount of content. New events appear every second, the graphics are nice, and a lot of people still do not believe in optimization quality.

It seems the only bane of this game is server problems. Once again, Amazon has not prepared for the launch and has not learned from New World’s mistakes. So do the queues have a chance to disappear? According to the developers, they are still working on it.

Another server region in Europe is to be released soon. This means that if someone decides to transfer, they will, unfortunately, be forced to say goodbye to their character, premium packs, skins, and other unique items. Perhaps this solution will relieve some servers. At the moment, however, we have to be patient and “stand in the line”.
