Why is it not worth upgrading your first LoL skill right after starting the game? A great example straight from gold
A great reason why you shouldn’t upgrade your skills right from the start.
Some actions in LoL from both lower and higher divisions often go down in history. This time around, the bronze players showed off their Teemo spotting ability on the first level.
This is a great example to learn from. Namely, it shows why it is not worth choosing the first skill right at the beginning of the game.
Teemo against everyone
The clever hamster most often seen in the top lane has an interesting passive. Probably everyone knows that he is able to move invisibly through the bushes. This time his player decided to go to the jungle and hide next to the opponent’s red buff to use smite. However, he was noticed by Lee Sin, who called out to his entire team.
It would seem that Lee Sin and the team should deal with the uninvited guest. He has the ability to detect invisible characters on his Q:
Lee Sin creates a wave of sound in a line, dealing physical damage to the first enemy hit and detecting it for 3 seconds. If it hits an enemy, Lee Sin can use Resonance Blast for 3 seconds.
This did not happen, however, and Teemo won this match, taking not only red but also eliminating the Blind Monk. All because he started right away with “W” and did not wait several dozen seconds.
The commenting noted that Lee Sin had many more options to choose from, and chose the worst. He could go to the rockeries and take level 2 faster than his opponent. He could drag the red the other way and force Teemo to come out of the bush or walk to blue.
