This will no longer be possible. LoL is supposed to detect that you don’t have very pure intentions during gameplay

Riot will be taking an even closer look at players who intentionally ruin matches for others.

Probably many League of Legends fans will find that the most annoying aspect of the game from Riot is that you often have to deal with toxic players. These not only tend to be boorish and vulgar in chat but do everything to spoil the enjoyment of the game.

Riot has been trying to combat such behavior for years, although despite improving systems, trolls and feeders continue to be present in LoL and ruin the fun for other fans of the title.

However, the developers assure that they are not giving up and are constantly improving their protection, as they want to even better detect inappropriate behavior, including just dying on purpose or acting to the detriment of the team.

Improving systems to combat toxicity

Riot has announced that it has been working on improving systems to detect inappropriate behavior that negatively affects the gameplay experience. The issue is, of course, toxicity, including verbal insults and humiliation or simply vulgarity.

Also under control are actions to the detriment of the team, i.e. deliberate dying and thus feeding enemies. Unfortunately, this form of trolling is really dangerous and people who want to annoy others know it very well.

Riot wants to do something about it and apply penalties as soon as possible to accounts where such behavior has been detected.

We’re rolling out improvements to our disruptive behavior detection systems that detect verbal abuse and intentional feeding. That means you’ll see increased actions taken against players for these behaviors in-game.

It’s hard to say how well the improved systems will work, and whether they will significantly eliminate the problem of trolling in League of Legends. One can only hope that, at least in a small way, the changes will improve the game experience.
