This ADC is currently the most recommended to play in LoL. After patch 12.13, she is OP and dominates other shooters

Sivir has become incredibly strong this patch. She destroys everything in her way.

League of Legends bot lane players have a tough nut to crack. Currently, they have to face or ban a really strong ADC and it’s all about Sivir.

She was rebuilt in the previous update and all her abilities have changed, including the passive. She now wins over 52.5% of matches above platinum.

Sivir is OP

Patch 12.13 hit the official League of Legends servers on Wednesday, July 13. Fully reworked Sivir’s abilities were to improve her team fight chances and force players to build critinstead of destruction.

With this mid-scope update, we’re setting Sivir up to have the strongest AoE DPS output of all the marksmen—so long as she can stay alive to use it. We’re hoping Sivir players find that her damage potential is now much higher and more consistent due to the adjustments we’ve made to her Ricochet and signature Boomerang Blade. Ultimately, these should help shift Sivir’s identity from a chauffeur for her teammates to a high damage AoE marksman with the added ability to help clean up winning fights. 

As it actually turned out, Sivir actually does deal the most AOE damage, as Riot wanted. However, this has led to her now being overpowered and winning 52.51% of matches over platinum, 52% in diamond, and the same in Grandmaster. She also appears in 25% of matches, making her the most picked character in League of Legends.

However, if you want to play her in ranked, you need to hurry. She will be nerfed soon in patch 12.14, which is scheduled for June 27. The following changes are already prepared for her:

  • Boomerang Blade (Q)
    • Cast time lowered from 0.25-0.18 to 0.25-0.10 seconds (bugfix)
  • Ricochet (W)
    • Damage dealt to minions lowered from 80% to 65%
    • Will kill minions that would be left with less than 15 HP

As you can see, they are not big, but they can temper her ability to push minions quickly. However, players are wondering if this is really enough.
