The Star Guardian Pass from LoL ended differently than planned. What about players who haven’t had time to spend their tokens?

League of Legends

Riot will manually unlock rewards for players if they haven’t used up their tokens.

It was really loud about the problems with the Star Guardian pass. Gamers struggled to unlock both the free content and the content hidden behind the paid pass. Fans were unable to cash in tokens efficiently as the prizes were not awarded on time, which made it difficult to track progress.

Riot decided not only to give players all the free content in missions without having to unlock it on the previous terms (it was enough to play one game) but also to extend the duration of the pass by about a week. This, however, raised another problem that Riot now needs to address.

What about unused tokens?

League of Legends players didn’t really have a moment to spend their tokens after they couldn’t be earned. Usually, after the missions are turned off, the store stays in the Hextech workshop for a few more days, so that there will be no situation where someone has not spent the collected currency. This time, however, by extending the duration of the event, there was no time, and the store for tokens disappeared along with the possibility of obtaining them.

The creators do not plan to leave fans in an uncomfortable situation. The support department writes that if someone has not managed to spend all their tokens, they can ask the support to exchange them for the selected content.

Star Guardian tokens were disabled yesterday in preparation for Steel Valkyries launch. If you had unspent Star Guardian tokens, submit a ticket by September 7, 11:59 PM PT and we’ll help unlock your rewards!

Players can ask for it through the support page. There is still some time to unlock the rewards, but don’t hesitate. Certainly, there will be a lot of applications, and the sooner you report to the support, the sooner you can expect answers.
