Honor tokens have been in the game for 3 years, and players can only buy skins for Warwick and Twitch with them
LoL players aren’t thrilled with their tier 5 token selection.
Each year, players can earn Honor Level 5 Tokens for their athletic and good behavior. Thanks to them, they are able to unlock two skins and a few chromas for Warwick and Twitch.
Such a “huge” choice is not satisfying to anyone. Some people collect it from scratch and wait for more content to come, but that still isn’t coming.
Tokens for Twitch or Warwick
Being honorary in LoL is not that difficult, but many players have a lot of trouble. To encourage them to be sporty, Riot decided to introduce various badges and rewrite the old community reward system. One of the rewards for being a good fan are Tokens for a skin or chromas, but the choice is so large that players don’t use them anyway.
For the last three years, the store has only 8 items. These are the three colors for Gray Warwick and Medieval Twitch, and these skins can be purchased separately. Even if someone actually decides to choose them, they still have several tokens to use.
Because of this, fans are slowly getting irritated. While they understand that good behavior should be the norm, not the desire to win rewards, Riot still has built a system that rewards them for it, so it would be nice for it to be updated with new content.
Will posts on Reddit make a difference? Although they are popular and appear quite often, so far the developers have not taken players’ requests to heart. Some have suggested that they should add an option to trade tokens for skin shards, but Riot probably won’t agree to that either.
