Riot organized a small meeting with the developers which featured some interesting topics.
The lucky chosen ones were able to ask the Riot developers a few questions about season 2022 a few days ago. Of course, there were dragons, runes, item changes, etc. The questioners were also interested in the topic of awards for achievements.
Let us remind you that the mechanics that allow for a comeback are already a fact. Riot confirmed it in its official announcements.
“Objective Bounties activate only when a team is sufficiently behind and are highlighted on the minimap for both teams. If a losing team takes an objective with an active bounty, every member of the team receives the objective bounty gold, split amongst the team. Objective Bounties are calculated based on four factors: XP lead, Gold lead, Dragon lead, and Turret lead.”
Riot answers questions about rewards

Riot also says that these rewards will give you a chance to come back, and getting them doesn’t guarantee that suddenly losers will be able to make up for the loss.
