Did Riot just announce a new animated movie from the League of Legends universe? It looks so.
League of Legends animations are mostly well-received by the community, and until the release of Arcane, comments under each animation were filled with requests for the entire show. The players finally got 9 episodes of 40 minutes each, and its average score was as much as 9.1/10 on IMDb.
Now an interesting poster has appeared on the official profile of the animation director who worked on Arcane. It shows heroes from different regions drawn in a style that matches the animation.
A chance for a new animated film
League of Legends players complain about many elements of the game. However, the opinion of the animation and music team remains unblemished. So it is hardly surprising for players that they are enjoying every new animated film and Arcane has earned such good results.
Now there is a chance that another one will appear soon. Perhaps it will be about the current 2022 season and the Void’s invasion of the world of Runeterra. At the moment, however, this is only a theory of players. The community is based on graphics depicting characters from different regions, such as Braum (Freljord), Yasuo (Ionia), Miss Fortune (Bilgwater), and Ekko (Zaun). It was made available on the profile of Seung Eun Kim, the animation director who worked on Arcane. Here’s what it looks like:

The whole thing resembles a poster, compared to those advertising superhero movies. Perhaps this is the style Riot was basing their animations on, and in 2022 we will see another interesting event in the style of “Ruination”, which took place last season. However, the artwork has not been signed and a lot of information is still a mystery.
