Riot found this way of playing LoL harmful after Faker’s game. A tactic that was “destroying the game”

League of Legends

You can laugh that this is a coincidence, but only a few dozen hours after the “Faker incident” Riot introduces specific changes to LoL.

Yesterday we reported on a case where one streamer got banned from LoL after a match against Faker. Finally, it is not known whether Riot was really looking at this game or whether it was actually about the account theft.

What is certain are the changes that have just appeared on the PBE. Recall that the banned streamer was TheBausffs, who loved to use the “Inting Sion” tactic. This is basically ignoring what is happening on Summoner’s Rift at all and destroying the towers. It has made Sion very popular lately at the above platinum ranks where people actually knew how to play like that.

After that, Riot concluded it was harmful

Now there is little doubt that the mentioned game was seen by Riot. TheBausffs played with Faker and used the “Inting Sion” tactic, which is simply destroying the towers at all costs. Sion’s skills are perfect for this, so you can line up, take out minions, focus on towers and ignore everything else.

This is nothing new, this tactic has existed in LoL for many years, but only now has Riot decided that something should be done about it. Therefore, Sion was nerfed so that it would no longer be profitable to play him this way.

Players obviously know what this is all about, and there’s no doubt that Riot did it after Faker’s game.

The changes will probably come to normal servers soon. Now you can really wonder how much influence Faker has on LoL since only after his game there are changes of something that has been present in LoL for several years.
