Players want a Conqueror changes in League of Legends. Rioter responds to the request

League of Legends fans would like the developers to make a minor change to Conqueror. What is it about?

Runes are an extremely important element of League of Legends. They significantly improve the hero’s abilities and allow them to emerge victorious from duels, which would certainly be lost without them. Riot allows players to track both how much damage each item’s abilities have dealt, as well as how much runes have helped the player.

Fans have praised this solution many times, saying that it helps them judge how useful the selected rune or item is for them. However, the introduction of the indicator was not always as easy as it may seem. Some elements support the player in several different ways and tracking one of them is not as easy as, for example, the other. How does this relate to requests to change Conqueror?

How would players change the rune?

A user with the nickname xObiJuanKenobix wrote an entry in which he commented on one of the most popular runes available in League of Legends. The player would like the stat that tracks Conqueror, displayed on the bar at the bottom of the screen, to show increased damage, not health restored as it is at the moment.

Not sure why this was even in place, I don’t take conq on any champ for the healing I take it for the extended damage and stacking damage. It would be cool to see how much damage a game I do with that rune alone instead of seeing some healing number that doesn’t really mean much

The thread quickly received a lot of comments from both fans and a response from Rioter, where the designer RiotRayYonggi wrote that making such a change would be really difficult due to the complexity of calculating the damage ultimately inflicted.

This. I would REALLY like for this to be damage rather than healing as well but because it’s based off adaptive it’s not really possible without the cost being high.

Every damage calculation would need to go through a filter of “of how much damage would this have done with X less adaptive” where X changes with how many stacks you have. And with that applying to every instance of damage (including DoTs like Darius Bleed and Liandries) it’s not a wise use of PC/server resources.

However, many fans suggested a counter similar to that of Lethal Tempo. It shows how long it has been at the maximum stacks.

I’m a terrible Conqueror user so finding out how much time I’m maintaining max stacks is a much nicer ‘immediate’ stat to digest than healing done. Thanks for the thoughts!

Despite Rioter’s optimistic response, he did not announce the start of work on the improvement expected by some fans. This means that the change may go to League of Legends, but it is not certain.
