LoL developers have revealed who will get the next update. Work on refreshing two champions

Riot revealed who will get the next ASU to hit the game. It fell on two well-known champions.

Recently, there has been a lot of talk about Ahri’s graphic update. Fans of the heroine really liked her refreshed splash art and aesthetic model in the game (see: Riot on Ahri’s ASU in League of Legends. A summary of the new graphics and models in the game).

These types of reworks are highly coveted by the community, as they take care of LoL’s aesthetics, but also give many characters new life – even though it’s only about the visual aspect, players test the revamped champions out of curiosity and often find that these ones are quite enjoyable to play.

After the new Ahri hit the live servers, some players began to wonder who would be the next to receive a graphical update. It turns out that Riot is working on two reworks of this type. Who will they go to?

The upcoming ASU

Rioters revealed that they are currently working on two graphic reworks – for Lee Sin and Teemo. The first is a well-known jungler, who premiered on April 1, 2011. The second, on the other hand, is a living meme in the League of Legends community, and a champion who appeared in the game almost 14 years ago – in a few days it will be the anniversary of his release, on February 21.

We’re trying to do Art & Sustainability Updates (ASUs) faster and are working on Lee Sin and Teemo.

As you can see, the graphics attached by Rioters show preliminary concepts, which means that it is not known what the final look of the characters will be. It is also unknown when the ASUs will be completed. Both characters have quite a few skins that need to be renewed, so League of Legends developers have a lot of work to do.
