Kayle’s big changes were announced by Riot in League of Legends. What are the developers improving?

What Kayle changes are coming soon to League of Legends?

Patches are regularly released to League of Legends, which are usually intended to improve the balance of gameplay by addressing characters that significantly stand out from the rest. There is also no shortage of changes issued to improve the quality of the skill set of the selected hero and make playing them more enjoyable.

This time one of the designers decided to look at Kayle. The heroine is currently not doing too badly – winning 51.72% of games. In the tier list, which takes into account more coefficients, Kayle is only in the 23rd position among other heroes chosen in the top lane.

Kayle fixes

Riot August published a post showing what Kayle fixes have appeared on the test servers. The changes mainly concern the distinctive ultimate-skill, but there was also a balancing of the on-hit damage provided by E.

  • Starfire Spellblade (E)
    • On-hit AP ratio: 25% >>> 20%
    • P wave dmg: 15-35(e rank) >>> 20-41(lvl 11-18)
  • Divine Judgment (R)
    • Cast time: 1.5 >>> .5
    • AoE Delay: 1.5 >>> 2.5
    • Invuln duration: 2-3 >>> 2.5
    • AoE radius: 525 >>> 675/675/775
    • Dmg: 200-500(+80% AP)(+100% BAD) >>> 200-400(+70% AP)(+100% BAD)

The developers have strengthened the super-skill, allowing the heroine to attack from a distance when using her ult on herself. Casting time has also been reduced at the expense of later AoE with slightly less damage.

The developers have also looked at another key ability of the heroine, which enhances her basic attacks, which will perhaps affect the order in which players tend to upgrade abilities.

The fixes have already hit the test servers, so it can be assumed that they will be released in the next full update, which is scheduled for May 3. It’s also worth keeping in mind that things could still change.
