Dr Mundo is one of the more distinctive champions from League of Legends. He has been in the game practically since its humble beginnings, but even so, his skill set and appearance are relatively fresh, as the champion received a VGU rework in June 2021. The changes proved to be a success, but at this point, Mundo is no longer as popular as he was moments after his changes.

The character is starting to fall flat in the later stages of the game, and Riot has decided to do something about it. What do two studio employees write about the changes, which have already hit the test servers?

Hey, y’all! Damascus_Glenn made some new Dr. Mundo changes which should be on the PBE soon. We are primarily changing how his W works and have also tweaked his other abilities. Aiming to make him more viable in the jungle!

Dr. Mundo changes should be coming to PBE today! Goals are to improve Jungle winrate, make him more late game skewed, and make W more impactful!
