In the last of the videos released by Riot, LoL players could learn a lot of really important information about the upcoming changes and new content. There was talk, among other things, about the upcoming champions, but also about refreshing the older ones – including Ahri.
The players got to know the refreshed look of the heroine through a short clip. Many fans were delighted, but to show the difference between the old and the new model even better, one fan decided to publish a comparison.
Old and new Ahri models
Most players will doubtlessly find that League of Legends currently looks better than it did a few years ago. The gaming industry has really changed a lot since the premiere of this production, and the studio that is responsible for it has grown significantly. All this adds up to a much more eye-catching graphic design. Models are now more detailed and animations are smoother and more complex.
A huge contrast can be seen with the VGU updates released, which affect rather older heroes. According to the fans, the refreshed Ahri, which could be seen in the latest video from the LoL Pls series, also looks much better.
A user with the nickname Remus posted a video on Youtube, where you can see the presentation of the refreshed Ahri in comparison with the current one.

The clip shows that the improvement can be noticed not only in the model itself but also in the animations. Be it those assigned to the moment when the character remains motionless, or running or using a skill. Although some fans are disappointed that the creators did not follow the look of the character from Ruined King, they are still happy with the improvements introduced to the old model.
