League of Legends fans are once again discovering something in the game files. What this time?
The League of Legends community is huge, so there is no shortage of users trying to find any information in the game files. In the past, players have repeatedly managed to find out details of upcoming passes through the content of the Hextech Store, such as tokens and their descriptions. What did one of the players discover this time?
What was found in LoL files?
Julex_Gameplays, who has previously shared with the community details of what he discovered via the game files, has this time written about the content of one of the upcoming passes where one item may belong to Ahri. What is known about her?
A file related to the third phase of the pass has been added, named “event-shop.json”.
As in the Season 2022 video, they used the PROJECT: BASTION 2021 assets, but this time the skin belongs to Ahri.
The third phase of passes refers to an entry posted by Riot Games in January, when players were informed of changes that will affect the mythical content and passes that will be released in League of Legends in the future.
The new type of pass is to appear in League of Legends most likely during the upcoming Worlds championship. The file that points to Ahri probably means that the heroine will receive a Prestige skin during this event, as the PROJECT series could only be used as a so-called placeholder, as was the case when Riot was describing the news in January.
It doesn’t mean that a PROJECT: Ahri skin will be released, but it is also possible that Riot worked on such a skin and then abandoned it. The same thing happened with Illaoi and Ekko, as can be seen in the video released by Riot. In the mentioned video, the assets of the PROJECT 2021 event were used and this time the situation may be the same.
What Riot is planning will not become clear until the first official information about the upcoming pass becomes available. At the moment, fans can only speculate on what the creators have shared in the past and what has been discovered.
