A spectacular way to raise a Herald’s eye in League of Legends. The opponents were not ready for this
One player made perfect use of the hextech gates on Summoner’s Rift.
Herald is the third strongest monster on Summoner’s Rift, remaining in Baron Nashor’s pit for approximately 20 minutes. The buff it offers is unique in its own way, as it is not enough to kill the creature, but you also have to pick up the eye it leaves behind. This is very valuable as it later allows you to summon a Rift Herald that fights on your team’s side, and in particular destroys enemy towers. Probably every player knows how fast the monster can ram a turret, so it’s no wonder that teams want to grab his eye.
One of the fans posted a video showing how one of the teams fought against Herald. Unfortunately, something went wrong – the opponents surprised them and prevented them from picking up the eye. Fortunately, one player had a good idea in his head.
Interesting use of the hextech gate
One of the players – Jerskouille – posted a video of Caitlyn and Shyvana from the blue team fighting the Herald. Everything is going well and the team manages to kill the monster. Unfortunately, at the last moment they are surprised by their opponents – not only does Renata’s ult hit them, but also the enemy Samir and Illaoi appear on the spot. Caitlyn dies and Shyvana escapes with her ultimate from Baron Nashor’s pit.
It would seem that the whole action was in vain because the enemies cut off access to the eye left behind the monster. This, as you know, will not stay on the map indefinitely, but will be lost if not picked up.
Luckily, Shyvana didn’t want to give up that easily and had an idea.
As you can see, the heroine used the hextech gate, which was located behind the wall of the Baron’s pit. As she flew between the portals, she scooped up the Herald’s eye and landed safely away from her opponents.
Many commenters felt that the whole action looked very spectacular and, according to them, it is one of the few interesting ways to use these gates. These caused a lot of problems and bugs- probably some people know moments when one of the characters got stuck at the portal, or the champion’s untouchable companion began to take the attacks of opponents.
Regardless of whether you like hextech gates or not, it’s worth remembering that they can be used in a spectacular way.
