Zeri is a heroine who has been a nuisance for the League of Legends balancing team since her release. The character performed dismally in standard Summoner’s Rift games while dominating the professional scene. Ultimately, this took a heavy toll on her popularity, and currently, the character has the lowest winrate in the game at just over 43%, and her pickrate is less than 1%.

Riot had to do something about it sooner or later, and reports that the heroine’s fixes have arrived on the test servers. What exactly will be changed in one of the upcoming updates?

Amidst Preseason and TFT Set 8 on PBE, it’s a perfect time for me to slip in some SMALL Zeri changes while no one is looking. These are coming to PBE today!

Zeri with ~900 range, an infinite ult, and high damage had almost 0 weaknesses in coordinated play. Making her be in threat range more and commit her E to have her zippy payoffs and carry moments

  • [NEW] Deals up to 65% bonus damage based on Critical Strike Chance

  • Ability/attack damage reduce the cooldown of Spark Surge (E) by 0.5s (1.5s for critical strikes)

  • Hitting champions grants Zeri 1 stack (3 per crit) of Overcharge for 1.5s. Zeri gains 0.5% MS for each stack of Overcharge (stacking infinitely)
