Hogwarts Legacy players are complaining of mild “lags,”, especially in various types of cutscenes.
The Hogwarts Legacy community has found two solutions to the lag problems. They are relatively simple to implement, so you don’t have to somehow particularly customize your computer for just one game.
First of all, change one of the key options directly in the game. In the display properties, set the upscale type to “none”. Just this one change will already give you a big boost.
What else?
The next step is a bit more complicated, but many people write that this has completely gotten rid of any lag. Go into Windows and search for “Exploit Protection.” Then the program settings.
We add the program while choosing a specific access path. Naturally, we are referring to Hogwarts Legacy. You can usually find it in:
Steam Library -> Steam Apps -> Common -> Hogwarts Legacy
You add the .exe file. Then you edit the “Control Flow Guard” options to “Change system settings” being on.
You save and restart the computer. Everything should now play without any lags.
