Epic is shutting down the servers of this Battle Royale. Players can apply for refunds of money spent

Epic has decided to shut down the servers of one of the Battle Royal’s that were published on the platform.

Not all games that Epic has put money into e have paid off. One example is a title that shut down just six months after launching its servers. Hardly anyone wanted to play it, and even fewer people spent any money on it.

It supposedly resembled Fortnite somehow, but why play something similar when you can simply play Fortnite. The game had its community, while it failed to attract too large an audience. That’s why Rumbleverse is closing down.

Rumbleverse ends its life

The game will get its last update, which will make the pass available to everyone. After that, there will be a permanent shutdown of the servers. The game can be played until February 28, 2023. Importantly, Epic will refund the money people put into the game.

Usually the studios don’t return the money, and here it will be different. Maybe it’s because Epic didn’t make any big bucks on it. After all, the game only ran for six months. There is not much information about Rumbleverse, although it was a classic Battle Royale production with a normal pass, divided into seasons. Today it doesn’t matter much.
