Currently, Fortnite has “mini-events”, which are events that happen once in a while.

Epic announces them in some way before every big event. This time it happens through a pulsating device. Some people didn’t get a chance to see it directly in-game, yet they wanted to experience it:

One of the players kept telling his friends that he would like to see it. Unfortunately, this was not possible. His friends thought for a while and came up with a simple but equally brilliant solution.

Of course, this does not replace the event itself, but friends like that are a treasure. Fortnite players remember those beginnings when almost everyone played the production of Epic – these moments can probably not be regained, which is a pity. Here you can feel the vibe from many years ago.
