While the new season has brought a ton of news, it is definitely not all that is to be expected yet.
Chapter 4 brought the expected breath of fresh air. Many interesting things have been introduced, but Epic has already announced several more. You can see that Epic spends a lot of time searching for those most interesting mechanics from other productions.
And that’s actually a very good thing. No one says anymore that Fortnite is copying something, because 2022 perfectly showed that basically all these major productions are taking ideas from each other and introducing them with slight modifications.
What else will appear in Fortnite?
The most important are three things in total. You probably saw a drone in the trailer, which resembles mechanics from Assassin’s Creed.
In addition, the mobile shield seems very interesting. This one, in turn, is a bit reminiscent of Overwatch and Brigitte.
There is also one special skill that will be added. Unfortunately, it is not known when. It is probably a matter of a few more updates, stabilizing the meta and balance.
