Gamers are surprised at how much Fortnite has lost. The last 365 days have seen a drop in viewership by…

Players have pointed out something very disturbing. In a year Fortnite lost a lot of viewership.

Every Fortnite player realizes that the popularity of Epic’s production has simply declined. This is not necessarily influenced by the decisions of the developers themselves, who keep introducing something new because Fortnite is still a great game, but basically, all online productions are suffering.

Regardless of the reasons, of which there are a ton, Fortnite has to come to terms with the decline in viewership on Twitch. One can debate here that Epic’s production in general is better to play than to watch at this point, but the statistics can be a bit worrying.

How much has Fortnite lost?

According to general statistics, Fortnite has lost 38% of its viewership over the past 365 days. Other tables show that overall streamers on Twitch broadcast more, but are watched by those 38% fewer people.

Virtually every statistic, in this case, has declined. Only the number of Fortnite streamers increased, but this translated blandly into Fortnite viewership.

The last really good year for Fortnite was 2020, when production scored increases. 2021 was a slight decline, not exceeding 10%. After that, it flew.

In 2022, Fortnite was viewed by 35% fewer people than the year before. Gaming is all about ups and downs, so there will probably be an increase in some time. The trend is generally downward, but who knows – maybe things will change in future months.
