Players were hoping for something extra from Epic. Meanwhile, the developers, without much announcement or preparation, simply turned on one of the disabled pickaxes.
Epic decided some time ago due to errors that it must disable one of the pickaxes. It wasn’t amazing, the players just saw a special padlock in the locker.
The pickaxe was available for sale, even though many people still couldn’t use it.
The pickaxe was enabled
On the official account, Epic announced that the pickaxe is being turned on. The players were hoping for some sort of redress, but nothing like that happened.
Recall that the pickaxe has its second version – the lava style. This one was simply removed and it is unknown if it will return.
It is safe to assume that Epic will restore the extra style and will grant it for free in one of its next updates. At worst, nothing will happen at all, at best, players will get something for free.
