Epic cleverly smuggled in one of the emoticons a version of the map that players have not seen before.
Fortnite developers know exactly how to heat up the atmosphere before the end of the season. All it really took was one emoticon and an unfamiliar texture for people to reopen the cardboard box with the signature “new map.”
We are talking about the emoticon in which a character holds a ball with a map. At first, it seemed to be of little importance, until leakers got to those textures.
Different versions of maps
Leakers took the emoticon to task. It turned out that the sphere contains a map with different textures. In total, there are 6 versions of maps, most of which everyone knows. The exception is one map, which, according to the community, is a combination of all the previous ones.

A whole bunch of different kinds of theories about what is going to happen next have appeared on the web. Some point to the fact that it is a new map, which is an amalgamation of all the others, while it is rather necessary to approach it with a pinch of salt. The other side responds that it is no big deal.
Who is right here? This is something that players will only find out in some time. For now, this must be considered a curiosity, not a confirmation of earlier theories.
