Epic forgot to add this pickaxe to the store? Something strange just happened in Fortnite

Today a skin appeared in the store, which should come together with a backpack and a pickaxe. The backpack has indeed been added, but the pickaxe has not.

The Eternal Wanderer skin was promoted with a special graphic, which featured a pickaxe and a backpack. There was little doubt that the skin will come with these items:

Epic added a skin, a backpack also appeared, and the pickaxe did not. The question is what happened to it and why didn’t the developers add it?

Will this pickaxe be for free?

According to leakers, the pickaxe does not have a shop assigned to it at the moment. This means that it may appear as part of some promotion. This information is not confirmed and should not be treated as such.

There is a chance that the pickaxe will enter the game as a separate promotion and it will be for free. But Epic might as well “hold” it due to a bug.

This is an interesting case that is worth knowing about. Maybe the players just got to know the reward for participating in the event, or the pickaxe available as part of the community initiative?
