Description of Fortnite 23.10 update – 17 free items, return of winter stuff and more
Epic seems to have started the vacation season prematurely, as the description has only been made available in English. It is therefore an unofficial version.
Definitely, the main course of this update is 14 free items. These can be picked up on December 13. There are a total of 17 items in these 14 gifts, including:
- Two skins,
- Two gliders,
- Two wraps,
- Three soundtracks,
- Three sprays,
- Backpack,
- Pickaxe,
- Falling effect,
- Emoticon,
- Emoji.

In addition to free items, gifts and the snowball launcher are also returning to the game. At the same time, the rocket launcher is moved to the vault.
Those with an active Fortnite Crew will get a special backpack. All you have to do is log in during the Winterfest (from December 13 to January 3, 2022):
Epic also reports on returning cosmetic items. So you can expect typical winter skins. Two new ones were also shown:
You can also claim a free emoticon. Everyone who plays 5 matches with people on their friends list will get an emoticon:
Of course, there are also superstyles that can be unlocked.
Balance changes:
Of course, gifts and the snowball launcher will not be available in competitive modes.
