A new shotgun will be introduced to Fortnite, which is supposed to be good for long range

There is a new weapon in Fortnite files. This is another shotgun that will be introduced to the game.

Epic has apparently found Fortnite to have too few weapons as of yet. In the latest update 20.20, another shotgun was added to the files, called “Break Barrel Shotgun”. For now, its statistics remain hidden, but thanks to the description, we already know something about it.

First of all, it is supposed to be a long range shotgun. The description clearly states that it is supposed to deal high damage and be more effective at long range than typical shotguns.

It is as exciting as it is disturbing. There is no update description at this point, so it’s unclear if Epic will turn on the shotgun right after the update, or if it’s a plan for the next few days.

For now, all that remains is to wait and hope that Epic has not overdone it after all and that the weapon will not need to be nerfed quickly.
