Twitch is slowly becoming an adult platform. Cleavage camera and more allowed
Twitch plans to change its policy on broadcasts containing “suggestive” features. The platform is ready for changes, but now it is collecting additional feedback from users.
TTV is unlikely to be glad it leaked, but that’s the reality today. An extensive document has appeared on the web that shows the new rules that Twitch is to adopt soon. In short, the platform plans to allow a lot of things that are currently banned.
The main limitation is to mark the broadcast as “Mature”, this, in turn, may affect their “Discovery”, i.e. potentially Twitch may want to hide these streams a bit from the homepage, for example, but they will still be allowed.
What will these adult streams be?
Information about this is provided by Zach Bussey, a person very well known in the Twitch community. It is explained that streams labeled “Mature” will allow content that may be perceived as suggestive.
Okay, but what does “suggestive” mean? There are light things like talking about 18+ topics, fetishes, likes, how to make love, etc. The further the more interesting:
- Regularly bending over to highlight your buttocks to the stream – this is a literal quote from this document
- The camera is set to the neckline, not the face
- Drawing, painting a figure focused around her buttocks
- Revealing underwear as part of the dance
- Excessively giggling buttocks whenever a new subscriber joins – yes, that is also a quote
- Set the camera view to feet only
- Kissing during the broadcast
These and other points (such as suggestive dancing) are listed below:
It is not known yet whether this will come into force for sure, but rather, everything is ready. There will be broadcasts marked as “Mature” on TTV, which will feature content that is not necessarily controversial, but very close to it.
This “Mature” marking is to be highly demanded, TTV is to do more with it in the future than it is doing now.
