Twitch confirms work on a feature that literally all streamers are waiting for
Twitch has confirmed that the platform is working on an absolutely crucial issue that should have been resolved years ago.
Twitch bans are real chaos. Streamers get banned, they get a very general reason and have to guess at what exact moment they got banned. This is extremely problematic when the stream is over 10 hours long and the streamer has no idea where and what the reason is.
That is why, for years, streamers have been asking Twitch to add either specific tags on the VOD that would mark the reason for a ban, or simply provide video material. It turns out that the platform is already working on it.
Video with evidence of violation
Twitch is working on a system that will include video material with a violation in the information about the ban. That would be an excellent solution, leaving no room for doubt.
Unfortunately, it is completely unknown when such a thing could be introduced and whether it is a matter of weeks or months. Surely all streamers and most viewers who would like to know what their idols are banned for are waiting for this.
