Yesterday, Discord users may have noticed a mysterious “n” that shows up next to their profiles.
Discord relatively rarely experiences all sorts of mishaps, which is why each of them becomes quite popular. This time, someone who was responsible for coding the latest update forgot one letter.
It didn’t affect the platform’s functionality in any way, and Discord itself patched it fairly quickly by releasing a small hotfix. However, some people noticed it.

It should definitely be considered a curiosity. Hardly anyone noticed it at all. There was an additional “n” in the profile edition.
Discord employees themselves knew about it perfectly well. One of them even commented on Reddit:
There was nothing else to do with it, it wasn’t an Easter egg, though it was suggested at one point. Someone just forgot to delete this letter.
