Tfue, with tears in his eyes, posts a video on YouTube titled “Goodbye.” And it’s hard to watch

Tfue, one of the most popular YouTubers and streamers, has announced a longer indefinite hiatus.

Tfue is a very well-known streamer and YouTuber, and most importantly a professional gamer known mainly for Fortnite. He has amassed as many as 11.4 million followers on his Twitch channel, and similarly on YouTube.

The streamer has had a poor online presence for some time, with his last video on YT appearing back in April, he hasn’t posted on Instagram for quite some time, and his last Twitch broadcast was over 2 months ago.

Tfue with an emotional goodbye

Now the YouTuber has decided to break his silence and posted a video on his channel titled as “Goodbye,” which lasts 40 minutes. Fortunately for his fans, it’s just a break from the Internet, not a complete departure. The streamer has decided to take a break from streaming and gaming for an unspecified period of time. So it could last either a month or a year.

In his video, Tfue said that for a while he felt in a way like he was stuck in some kind of trap.

Until now, playing was an escape from reality for me, but now I feel like reality is my escape from work. I feel sometimes like I’m trapped, you know? Streaming for 6-8 hours every day is damn hard. I have absolutely no time for anything.

I just have to take time off. I’m 25 years old and I feel like I’ve spent most of my life in front of a screen. I wouldn’t take it back for anything in the world, but I feel I need a break. I just need to get away for a while.

It must be said that it’s really hard to watch a streamer in such an emotional crisis that led him to this kind of decision, even if it’s not someone you follow on a regular basis. It is unclear how long Tfue’s break is expected to last, the YouTuber did not specify how much time he needs. There was even a statement in the video that, all in all, he is not even sure if he will return, but rather yes – he just needs time to make good use of it.
