PewDiePie was banned from Twitch. The YouTuber streamed a banned game

PewDiePie has been banned from Twitch for a rather unusual reason.

In March, PewDiePie appeared on Twitch. “Appeared” is quite a word, however, because the YouTuber’s channel simply played his Youtube videos. And that’s what lost him in this case, because there’s a lot of talk that it’s simply the PewDiePie brand on TTV.

For some reason, some people think PewDiePie didn’t stream, and he got banned. He himself actually did not stream, but normally his broadcast was running. The stream went on all the time until it was banned.

PewDiePie and the Twitch ban

The ban is probably temporary, although one can only guess. The channel was a typical self-player that didn’t even need to be touched. You can see the number of watchers coming and going. People realized they were watching VODs and left.

However, not all content was suitable for Twitch. And yes, at one point a video of a production banned on Twitch, specifically HuniePop, was played.

Some may not know, but Twitch has its official list of banned games. There are dozens of items that the platform has deemed inappropriate. And yes, one of them was streamed on the YouTuber’s channel.

Nothing of some magnitude, but the ban was imposed. There is no question of a perma ban here, especially since the channel is quite fresh, i.e. it has only been a while since any content has appeared on it.
