Discord introduces some new features, options and possibilities every now and then. The latter applies to Nitro, and more specifically to the payment.
Nitro’s status isn’t particularly cheap. It is slightly more profitable to take it for a year, then you can save this 16%. However, people do not always have $ 100 to be able to send longer messages and larger files.
Therefore, for many months, users have been asking the platform to introduce other payment options – it is best if you could set a specific number of months that you want to pay in advance and then save a few or a dozen percent.
It is still a long way to go, but there is a first step
Some users report that Discord has added the option of paying in 6 or 3 months. Thanks to this, 5% is saved for 3 months, and 8% for 6 months. It is not known yet how many people have such a possibility, but probably in some time everyone will have such an option.
It is possible that thanks to this, more people will have Nitro soon, but it is difficult to say to what extent it will increase sales. Certainly, a lot of people have asked for it, so in theory, it should work positively for Discord.
