Android users are in for an unpleasant surprise. No one will be happy

Google is introducing new ads to the core app on Android devices.


“Even more ads, the Android user will endure.” That’s the premise Google came up with and decided to introduce additional ads that will be displayed in a rather unusual place.

Instead of the usual app search bar, this one has been equipped with additional space for sponsored content. Apps that have simply paid for it will appear there.

Google Play and new ads

Google’s main source of income is ads, and rather to no one’s surprise. They can be found everywhere from websites to those displayed on YouTube and having even a few minutes.

Nothing is unlimited, not even advertising space on the Internet. So nowadays it’s hard to introduce new ads because usually all the convenient spots are already taken. However, Google is not giving up and has decided to use the search bar in the Play Store.

There will be up to 3 apps, which will be prompted based on developer payments. Until now there was a search history, but that has gone. Now users will have to get used to the ads or change their phone, but it’s unlikely anyone will choose to do so because of this.
