Update 1.5 changed one but very important thing related to the secret ending.
There are almost legends about the secret ending and how to activate it. In various guides, you could read completely different ways to do so.
The misunderstandings and different versions of how to get to this particular ending were mainly due to the fact that CDPR recently changed the “path” that allowed them to activate.
What matters now?
One of the dialogues and the level of reputation have always been the most important. This one had to be at least 70%. The update marked 1.5 changed this requirement by simply removing it. So now the most important thing is one dialogue.
It’s about talking to Johnny in the oil fields. Selecting the appropriate dialogue options will activate a secret ending.
How do we know this? The CDPR itself replied that this is the way it is. This is general knowledge that is already a year old – the only thing that has changed is that the required reputation was removed. So the secret ending is much more accessible.
