CDPR says why it doesn’t announce any news for Cyberpunk 2077. Who is to blame?

CDPR, and more specifically Paweł Sasko, informed during the stream why the studio provides so little information about the work on Cyberpunk 2077.

CDPR does not provide much information about the expansion or the new features that will appear in Cyberpunk 2077. Many people have wondered why. It turns out that the players themselves are partly to blame.

As we hear, it’s best to come back to the demo shown years ago. Despite the fact that in many places it has been emphasized that this is an early stage of development and everything may change, players have set a lot of focus on some functions. CDPR wants to avoid this.

On the one hand, it is understandable, on the other hand, it is a big problem

It is difficult to judge whether CDPR is doing well choosing this path. It has both advantages and many disadvantages. As Paweł Sasko notes, Rockstar and Valve, for example, also do the same. Many developers keep communication to a minimum just to keep players from getting too excited for things that may not eventually show up.

This statement is very important as it really represents the way CDPR thinks. Certainly, an increasing number of developers choose to remain silent and answer questions about decisions made in the past or what is currently in the game.
