The main director of John Wick has revealed what names he would like to see in the cast of the next installment of the film.
John Wick 4, which is currently reigning supreme in world cinemas, is very popular. The statistics of the latest installment about the paid killer speak for themselves and break all viewing records, at least as far as the previous installments are concerned.
It’s clear that fans still love the character of John Wick and are eagerly waiting for the next installments of his story. And it looks like the directors are already preparing a possible fifth installment of the title, as Chad Stahelski talked a bit about what his dream cast looks like for John Wick.
Who could we see in John Wick 5?
Chad Stahelski has earned his popularity mainly through John Wick, which is beloved all over the world. It can also be said that as far as Keanu Reeves is concerned, this is definitely one of the leading roles in his entire career. However, it looks like it’s no longer enough for Stahelski and he would like to start working with other big movie stars.
In a recent interview with The Direct, Chad Stahelski talked a bit about who he sees in the cast of the next John Wick installment, should one ever be made. As he says, “the list is really huge.”
“There’s a huge list, but just the first thing that came to mindset was Cillian Murphy. I’m a big ‘Peaky Blinders’ fan. So, you know, I just think Cillian would fit right in. Colin Farrell is fantastic. Charlize Theron when she did ‘Atomic Blonde,’ I saw that went, ‘Oh my God, I gotta work with this woman. She’s awesome. I worked with Michelle Yeoh way back on a commercial years ago, and I’ve been dying to work with her ever since. I’m such a huge fan.
There’s a lot, I mean, there are so many great people out there, man. If Robert Downey happened to sit in my chair right here, I’d figure that one out. Peter Dinklage, I was a huge fan of his in ‘Game of Thrones.’ Sean Bean. Some of those guys I think are magical. I’d die for a chance with any of those people.
The list is really long and promising. Most of the people mentioned by lead director John Wick would certainly be perfect for this universe. So let’s hope that the fifth part will be confirmed soon and that the dream cast of Staleski will indeed see the light of day.
