It turns out that the creators of TS4 have prepared another update this month, but with no official information.
The last major update for The Sims 4 was in mid-February, on February 15, 2022 to be exact. At that time, the team working on the game, as always, published on its official website a description of the entire update, from which you could find out all the news.
Now, however, it looks like another full update has appeared in the game. However, it does not introduce as much news as the one with the official description. What to expect and what is known?
What’s in the new February update for The Sims 4?
The update was implemented simultaneously for The Sims 4 on PC, as well as on Mac, Xbox One, and PS4. The entire update generally has the features of a typical, monthly update of the game content – you must download it through Origin, and after turning on The Sims 4, enable mods (if you use them).
So why haven’t the developers released an official patch note? This is not fully known, but it turns out that the update is not as secret as it might seem. On the official The Sims forums, one of the employees – EA_Cade – added an entry informing that the game update introduces ‘behind-the-scenes fixes’.
The only thing that has been introduced is that optional wedding hall items now appear in the complete list of all items for the lot type.
In addition, it turns out that the new update does not fix everything. If a player only has the basic version of The Sims 4, it is not possible to plan a wedding in the wedding hall. The community has tested this issue directly in-game and it seems players can only plan a wedding in a dedicated room if they own the new game pack – Wedding Stories.
However, the situation was publicized so much that employees have certainly noticed this problem already. So you can expect another patch to be released in the coming days and players will have to download the game update once again.
