The Spring into Spring event in Pokemon GO has been launched. Everything you need to know

The spring event in Pokemon GO has begun, which will bring many interesting attractions.

The time has come for the spring event, during which new Pokemon will debut. But of course, that’s not all.

Players will be able to take advantage of various bonuses, get creatures with floral decorations and compete against themed opponents in raids. What do you need to know?

Spring into Spring in Pokemon GO

The event kicked off on Tuesday, April 4, and will run until 8 p.m. on Monday, April 10, 2023.

Cherry blossoms, flower crowns, and an assortment of Eggs? It can only mean one thing—the time is ripe to Spring into Spring!

With Pokémon decked out in their festive floral best, Ribombee’s Pokémon GO debut, and more, put a spring in your step with Pokémon GO!

On this occasion, the following attractions are scheduled:

  • Cutiefly and Ribombee (an evolution of Cutiefly – a bee Pokemon) will make their debut in the game.

  • The event will feature new Pokémon in costumes:
    • Pikachu and it’s family creatures with decorative cherry blossoms on their heads,
    • Eevee and it’s evolutions with decorative cherry blossoms on its head.
  • The following Pokémon will be available in the wild: Pikachu decorated with cherry blossoms, Jigglypuff, Eevee decorated with cherry blossoms, Marill, Whismur, Buneary in a flowery crown, Bunnelby, and Cutiefly.
    • Anyone who is lucky will get Chansey in a flowery crown and Togetic in a flowery crown.
  • From the 2km eggs, you will hatch: Cherry Blossom Eevee, Cherry Blossom Pichu, Togepi, Azurill, Happiny, Munchlax, Riolu, and Cutiefly.
  • The raids will feature themed opponents:
    • 1-star raids: Cherry Blossom Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Cherry Blossom Eevee, Cutiefly,
    • 3-star raids: Exeggutor, Alolan Exeggutor, Flower Crown Chansey, Flower Crown Togetic,
    • 5-star raids: Lugia,
    • Mega Raid: Mega Lopunny.
  • There will be Field Research themed
  • An event-based Collection Challenge will be available.

Happiny-themed perks will be available in the in-game store.

The following bonuses will be active during the event:

  • 2 times more candy for hatching eggs,
  • the distance needed to hatch an egg halved,
  • Lucky Egg activated during the event will last 1 hour.
