It’s time to announce who will be the hero of May Community Day in Pokemon GO. As always, it will be an event full of interesting attractions.

It turns out that the next event of this type will be associated with a famous creature in the Alolan version. As always, a lot of bonuses and attractions will be added to the game. What exactly can we expect?

Alolan Geodude Community Day in Pokemon GO

This time, the main character of the Community Day will be a rock and electric creature that appears in Alolan form. It’s about Alolan Geodude. The Community Day will start on May 21 (Saturday) at 11:00 am and will last until 2:00 pm local time.

On this occasion, the following attractions are planned:

  • Alolan Geodude will spawn more frequently in the wild. Anyone who is lucky will find the shiny version.
  • Graveler (Geodude evolution) evolved during or up to 2 hours after the event will give a Golem that knows the Rollout attack.
  • A disposable box for 975 PokeCoins will appear in the store, which will contain:
    • 1 x Super Incubator,
    • 1 x Lucky Egg,
    • 1 x Elite Fast TM,
    • 1 x Star Piece.
  • Special Research – “A Rocky Road” will be available for ticket holders.
  • After taking the photo, there will be some surprises.
  • A free pack of 30 Ultra Balls will be available in the store.
  • Themed stickers will appear in the game.

Various bonuses will be active on Community Day:

  • Incense activated during the event will run for three hours.
  • Lure activated during the event will run for three hours.
  • For catching Pokemon you will get 3 times more Stardust.
  • For catching Pokemon, you will receive 2 times more candy.
  • The chance of getting Alolan Geodude’s Candy XL when catching this species will be doubled.
  • During the event and up to 2 hours after it, players will be able to make additional special trade.
  • Pokemon exchanges between players will cost 50% less Stardust.

Work together with other Trainers to unlock additional bonuses!

If enough Pokémon are caught with help from a single Lure Module, the 3× Catch Stardust bonus for Trainers near the Lured PokéStop will become a 4× bonus for 30 minutes.
